Vintage AAA 3-7mm Akoya saltwater pearl & gold double strand necklace
A beautiful 47cm (18.5 inch) reconditioned vintage white saltwater pearl necklace with a rose gold (hallmark difficult to read) clasp. The longer strand is 19.25 inches, and the strands hang perfectly nested together. The pearls are newly hand knotted between each pearl, onto double threaded white silk.
The pearls are white AAA quality 3-7mm Akoya pearls with a thick nacre, a radiant luster and a cream overtone. These cultured Akoya pearls are perfectly round and look to be 1960-80s. The safety clasp set with split pearls, this clasp looks Victorian and may originally have come from an earlier necklace.
